Horizon three · The long view
The Next Chapter: 5800
Looking toward the Hebrew year 5800, Ziv Partners asks what must be built now so Israel's north reaches the next chapter stronger.
The work includes medical capacity, cross-community relationships, sustained investment, and a fuller global understanding of the people already building the future.
The aim is not to predict the region. It is to strengthen the institutions and relationships that allow people to protect life through whatever comes next.
Why the Galilee matters
A region this important cannot be sustained by history alone.
The Galilee carries meaning across faiths and across the world. Nazareth, Capernaum, the Sea of Galilee, and Safed sit within a landscape shaped by sacred history, living communities, and modern borders.
The same region is home to Druze villages, Muslim and Christian communities, Jewish communities, pilgrimage routes, hospitals, universities, families, and the possibility of new relationships.
A region this important cannot be sustained by history and pilgrimage alone. It needs trusted institutions that protect human life and support regional growth. Ziv Medical Center is one of those institutions.
